My favourite piece of technology

 

I remember when I was a child, the technological device that I loved with my life was the DVD in the house, it was perfect because a neighbor sold us movies recorded on CD and on days when it rained and the cable TV was not working, I was not left without TV, I could watch my favorite movies over and over again, to the point of wasting the CDs and the movie was cut. Today, replacing my DVD, the love of my life is my computer.

 

I had my first computer when I was 4 years old, I remember it was a black box, huge and very heavy, with the letters "IBM", it took up almost the entire desk where we rested it, next to a screen that had a box behind it, and it was almost the same or heavier than the pc. Every time I finished using it, I had to put a protective cloth on the keyboard and the screen, something like a keyboard cover, so that dust would not get on them, besides having a mouse, which every now and then failed because a ball underneath it was wrongly placed. In that PC I learned to read and the parts of the body with games on CD, I remember "the reader rabbit", "pipo", "the human body", "abrapalabra", my sister did her work with "La encarta" hahahahahahaha.

I got my first computer in seventh grade, it was one that the government gave us for good grades, too bad that the device was not as good as my average, hahaha mine came with screws less and they stole the RAM memory, cueck.

Soon after I bought another one that lasted me 4 years, enough to finish high school. 

In my first year of college, I needed a new computer, since doing my written work from my cell phone was not very comfortable or efficient... and I really love my current computer, first, because it is compatible with my phone, so I have synchronized my calendar, my to-do list, I even answer calls and send text messages from my computer, besides being able to send files quickly and without losing the quality of them.

Aesthetically it is beautiful, the keyboard lights up, which is perfect for writing work at night (like now hahahaha), it is thin and very light, I can carry it to college without any problem, it has a fingerprint reader that besides increasing the privacy of my computer, helps me to fill in the passwords of my accounts, as I always forget them.

It does not get slow, I can access information that I do not know very quickly, I can enjoy my favorite songs at full volume and of course ... I can watch my series and movies, a thousand times without having the fear that the cd is spent hahahahahah unless the power is cut and I run out of wifi, but these are details.

It is the device I use the most, even more than my cell phone, I do all my written work, photo and video editing for my work; it tells me how much time I spend in front of the screen and the percentage of time I spend in each application, which helps me to organize myself better and spend less time on the computer.

 All these things I mention are the reasons why my computer is my favorite technological device, it simplifies my life in many ways, my life would be worse than it already is hahaha but it would be hard for me to remember my meetings, important dates and the passwords of my accounts, I would have to have all these things written down in an agenda, which in addition to pollute by the expense of paper, I will probably lose.
